RTW #65: Groundhog Day
by Brandi Ziegler
When something can be read without effort, great effort has gone into its writing. ~Enrique Jardiel Poncela
Another Road Trip Wednesday with the awesome YA Highway girls! This week’s prompt:
In the movie “Groundhog Day,” Bill Murray has to relive the same day over and over. What books would you pick to read over and over for the rest of your life?
Of course I had to go with Tamora Pierce. I cannot get enough of her novels. Stephen King is a close second because I love how he takes your fears and traumatizes you with them, but I don’t need that kind of emotional stress every day for the rest of my life.
How about you? What would you read over and over for the rest of your life?
ive yet to read some tamora pierce, but her books sound wonderful 🙂
I’d suggest THE SONG OF THE LIONESS quartet or her more recent series BEKA COOPER for starters. Then I’m sure you’ll be hooked and read everything else with her name on it 🙂
Tamora Pierce is wonderful! My friends and I were absolutely obsessed with her when I was about 14. We read every one we could find. The Alanna quartet were always my favourites 🙂
Alanna’s story is my fav as well! I got into Tamora Pierce at about the same age as u. I’m still obsessing haha :p
